It\u2019s very traditional to spend a bank holiday shopping. I have, until now, managed to avoid such an exercise, rather preferring to spend the day ironing or cleaning out the larder than buying stuff.<\/p>\n
That was before Kurt the camper and today I practically skipped to the big camping shop desperate to find some \u00a0special something to make him our own.<\/p>\n
Nothing, there was nothing we liked, we considered a head torch and a rucksack for Sunny but there was nothing else and it was an enormous shop. \u00a0 We ended up at John Lewis, where I promptly knocked over a display of glasses and broke them.<\/p>\n
We managed to fill an enormous trolly with lovely things like mixing bowls and jugs, wine chillers and pepper mills, only to realise that everything was too big for the drawers and we don\u2019t actually need a salad spinner. \u00a0So we bought a miniature potato masher, some baby chopping boards took a tape measure and went to measure Kurt\u2019s drawers.<\/p>\n
